Jon Gosier works with the world’s most prominent recording artists, management companies, record labels, and influencers as the Founder of audience measurement and monetization company AuDigent. As Audigent’s Chief Data Scientist, he develops algorithms responsible for directing millions of dollars in new revenue to the music and entertainment industries.
Jon spent the past decade building a career in data science and international business. In that time he’s lead an array of data projects as a consultant to Jefferson Health, EMC, Google, FEMA, InQTel, The World Bank, U.S. Department of State, Wounded Warriors and as a sub-contractor to the Department of Defense and Lockheed Martin. His work has been recognized with awards from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the Harvard Initiative for Global Health, and the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF).
His 2014 TED Talk on “Techonomics” discussed the dual-nature of technology’s affect on capitalism and society. Jon has worked extensively throughout the African continent where he founded Appfrica, a tech advisory company, that simulated over $80M in new economic activity and job creation. Various other initiatives he’s been apart of since 2008 continue to play a role in attracting over $400 million in new venture capital deal flow to the African continent. An alum of Savannah College of Art and Design, Jon is a recovering music producer and filmmaker.
